Welcome to our LWN Selection Surgery

LWN is proud to have run 13 highly successful Understanding Labour's Selection Process Workshops over the last 13 months. These Zoom masterclasses have helped hundreds of Labour women.

However, with the majority of parliamentary selections now either complete or underway, to help answer any outstanding questions we will run several lunch-time and evening sixty-minute Selection Surgeries over the next couple of months.

These are drop-in sessions, so you're not obliged to stay for the whole hour unless it's useful to you. You can ask questions verbally, in the chat function or by anonymous DM to one of the training team during the session if you would prefer your question to remain unattributed. 

There are three type of seats still to conclude selections: "Non-Battleground Seats", "Remaining Seats" and "Retirement Seats", all of which LWN can offer guidance around.

Questions are invited around process, campaign strategy, logistical considerations, political factors, or any other aspect of seeking selection around which you have queries.

The only banned question is "please will LWN endorse me"! We exist to advance all women across the Labour movement, not a favoured few, and are proud to be a non-factional sisterhood of all shades of red, so unlike a number of other Socialist Societies, by constitution LWN chooses not to make nominations for parliamentary selections as an affiliate. We will however give you the tips and tools to stand the very best chance of success.
